Allergic rhinitis
Rhinitis comes from Greek word rhin- means nose, itis - means inflammation, therefore it is called nasal inflammation. Inflammation of the nose is a common disease. Our body has an immune system which kills bacteria and germs when this immune system begins to eliminate things that are not harmful to us .develop allergic rhinitis.
In seasonal allergic rhinitis, pollen is the most common allergen. When the seasons change allergy symptoms occur. Allergic rhinitis is also called hay fever because is caused by allergens hay for example dust, pollen, pet dander, etc.
It may seem like a minor disease. Rhinitis has not a complete cure, but we can control it to some extent with the help of medicines.
At the result of this overreaction develop inflammation in the nose allergic rhinitis occurs, and the chemical that is produced during this allergic reaction is called histamine.

Antihistamine
Antihistamine offers temporary, but immediate control of many of the most troubling symptoms of allergic rhinitis. It can be taken orally or nasal spray.
Montelukast
This medicine has also proved to be very useful in rhinitis.
Intranasal corticosteroids
Intranasal corticosteroids sprays have revolutionized the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
Nasal sprays
Nasal saline sprays are very useful in the treatment of allergic rhinitis to mechanically flush the allergens from the nasal cavity.
Precautions
Avoiding exposure to airborne allergens is the most effective means of alleviating symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Maintaining an allergen-free environment by covering mattresses and pillows with plastic covers.
When someone finds out that they have rhinitis. He should take immediate precautions. For example, if he is going to a dusty place, he should cover his face and nose.
Take special care for the cleaning. Patients with rhinitis should not stop taking medicines immediately when they recover, slowly reduce the dose first. Remember that medicines for allergic rhinitis don't have any specific side effects.
Inflammation of the nose is not a deadly disease but it should not be ignored as it is an inflammation of the nose which can cause asthma. Therefore, a doctor should be consulted in time.
